Statement By RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman On The Fourth Anniversary Of September 11, 2001
WASHINGTON RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman issued the following statement on the fourth anniversary of September 11, 2001: Four years ago today our nation suffered unimaginable loss at the hands of terrorists. We will never forget the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice on that tragic day in an effort to save the lives of their fellow countrymen. We are also humbled by the courage and willingness of our service men and women who continue to work tirelessly in Iraq, Afghanistan, and around the world to ensure that future generations never experience the atrocities America witnessed on 9/11.
